Install Turbi
Every site gets its own snippet. Find it under Settings → Tracking. It looks like this:
<script defer src="https://turba.digital/turbi/SITE_ID.js"></script>Paste it into the <head> of every page. The script is about 1.5 KB gzipped, loads without blocking your page, and sets no cookies.
Single-page apps
Turbi records a page view on every history change, so React, Vue, Svelte and Next.js apps work with no extra code. Add the snippet once to your root layout.
Common platforms
- Next.js: add it to
app/layout.tsxwithnext/scriptandstrategy="afterInteractive". - WordPress: paste it into your theme's header, or use a plugin that adds code to the head.
- Webflow, Squarespace, Shopify: paste it into the site-wide custom code or header injection setting.
- Google Tag Manager: add it as a Custom HTML tag that fires on all pages.
Website restrictions
Turbi only tracks pages that match your site's website restrictions. A new site allows its domain and its www. version. Add *.example.com for subdomains, or localhost:3000 while testing.
Exclude your own visits
Open your site, then run localStorage.turbi_ignore = 1 in the browser console. Turbi also stays quiet for visitors with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control turned on.
